Description for Protein PDS5B

PDS5, regulator of cohesion maintenance, homolog B (S. cerevisiae)
1 total interacting proteins;
Icon Book Platelet Evidence (proteome studies/others : 0/0)
(Not detected in platelets)
Summary:
This gene encodes a protein that interacts with the conserved protein complex termed cohesion. The cohesion complex holds together sister chromatids and facilitates accurate chromosome segregation during mitosis and meiosis. This protein is also a negative regulator of cell proliferation and may be a tumor-suppressor gene. [provided by RefSeq] (PubMed Links)
